Unalike Marketing

Law firm SEO services for Canadian practices.

Unalike offers SEO for law firms that need the right practice areas to be found and a clear way to connect organic enquiries with intake. We assess your existing website, the locations you serve and the work your firm wants to accept, then agree which technical, local and content work to prioritize.

Work with Unalike

What we scope and deliver

A useful SEO scope names the searches and pages to improve, the work required and how it will be judged. The proposal is based on your firm's starting point; a migration, missing practice-area pages and an established site with weak enquiry tracking need different work.

Search and technical baseline

Find which parts of the website can be discovered, which searches already create impressions and which pages should own your commercial topics.

  • Search Console query-and-page baseline, with brand and non-brand searches separated
  • Crawl, indexability, redirects, canonicals, site structure and mobile page-experience review
  • A prioritized list of repairs and a query-to-page map for the agreed practice areas and geography

Practice-area and local content

Help prospective clients understand what your firm handles, where it operates and how to enquire. Start with useful existing pages before proposing new ones.

  • Practice-area page briefs or revisions based on your actual services and current search evidence
  • Google Business Profile information and local listing consistency where included in scope
  • Internal links and supporting educational content with a designated firm reviewer

Enquiry measurement and review

Agree the definitions before reporting results. A ranking movement, a new enquiry and a retained matter answer different questions.

  • Phone, form and booking measurement requirements, including gaps in the current setup
  • Organic landing-page and query reporting alongside the outcome statuses your team supplies
  • A work log and priorities for the next review, including what to change when evidence is weak

How the work moves forward

  1. Agree the commercial brief

Choose the practice areas, service geography and intake capacity. Review the existing site and accounts, then define the searches, pages and enquiry stages in the starting cohort.

  2. Repair and build in priority order

Resolve discovery and measurement problems that would hide the work. Revise the agreed pages and local information, with factual and professional claims approved by your firm before publication.

  3. Review evidence and adjust

Compare the named queries, pages and enquiry outcomes with the baseline. Review visibility alongside confirmed consultations to decide which work to prioritize next.

Cross-industry measurement example

Boulevard Dental Centre · Saskatoon

Unalike's published Boulevard Dental case documents website content, an appointment-booking widget and tracked calls sent through a CRM.

The relevant example is how enquiries can be connected with booking and follow-up systems. This is dental work; it does not establish law-firm SEO rankings, legal consultations or retained matters.

Accounts, access and responsibilities

Your firm controls the accounts
Use firm-controlled domain, website, Google Business Profile, Search Console and analytics accounts. Add Unalike with permissions appropriate to the agreed work. Record existing agency access and any handover needed before making changes.
Unalike handles the agreed SEO work
The proposal names technical changes, content, local work and reporting, including dependencies on your developer or current platform. Website rebuilds, integrations and Google Ads management are separate scope decisions.
Your team approves claims and intake decisions
A designated firm reviewer approves practice descriptions, credentials and advertising claims. Your intake team owns conflicts, legal suitability and accepting a matter. Agree what status data can be used for marketing reporting; case details are not needed for the first conversation.

What the reporting should tell you

Visibility

Track the agreed query-and-page pairs, organic clicks and impressions. Report local/map observations separately from ordinary organic results and record the location and date of any rank snapshot.

Enquiries

Record new-business calls and forms by source where attribution is available. Define qualified enquiries by practice area, service geography and capacity, and separate existing-client, recruitment and supplier contact.

Consultations and matters

Count confirmed bookings separately from enquiries, attended consultations and retained matters. Later stages depend on statuses supplied by the firm; missing intake data remains unknown rather than being reported as a successful client acquisition.

How pricing is scoped

SEO is quoted around the work required: technical repairs, practice-area content, local visibility, reporting and the people needed to deliver it. Confirm the initial scope and review cadence in writing before work starts.

Separate ongoing SEO work from website production, tracking software, integrations and any paid media. An SEO retainer is not an advertising budget. If Google Ads is appropriate, management fees and media spend should be scoped separately.

The free consultation helps us understand your website, priorities and intake process. We identify the work that needs assessment, then set out the scope, responsibilities and pricing in a proposal.

Is this the right next step?

This is a useful starting point for a firm with defined practice areas, capacity for new matters and someone who can approve website content and connect enquiries with intake outcomes. If you need an immediate paid-search test, a website rebuild or measurement repair first, we will discuss that dependency when scoping the work.

What we discuss on the first call

  • Your website, practice areas and the locations you actually serve
  • The matters you want more of, intake capacity and how new enquiries are handled
  • Your current agency or internal responsibilities, spend and account-access situation
  • What you can currently measure and which decision you need the SEO work to support
