Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Unalike Marketing collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit our website, contact us, use a tool, join a waitlist, or work with us.

1. Who is responsible for privacy

Unalike Marketing is responsible for personal information under its control. Our Privacy Officer can be reached at info@unalike.ca. Questions, access requests, correction requests, and privacy complaints can be sent to that address.

2. Information we collect

  • Information you provide: your name, email, phone number, organization, message, tool inputs, waitlist selections, and other details you choose to submit.
  • Service and transaction information: project communications, contracts, invoices, and records needed to provide services or meet legal and accounting obligations.
  • Technical information needed to operate and protect the site:request time, IP address, browser or device details, requested URL, and security or rate-limit data contained in ordinary server logs.
  • Baseline measurement information: unless you reject it, we collect page views, referrer, campaign parameters, advertising click identifiers, and pseudonymous visitor or session identifiers, so we can tell which page or campaign produced an enquiry. This does not identify you personally.
  • Optional measurement information: only after you accept optional cookies, the marketing and visitor-identification providers listed below may additionally collect session and interaction recordings, approximate device or location information, and business or professional profile information.

3. Why we use information

  • Respond to inquiries and provide requested tools, reports, or services.
  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website.
  • Maintain business, accounting, consent, and compliance records.
  • Understand site use, measure campaigns, and attribute leads to the page or campaign that produced them, unless you reject measurement.
  • With your optional-cookie consent, identify business visitors, record usability sessions, and improve advertising.
  • Send marketing messages only where we have the consent or other lawful basis required for that communication, with an unsubscribe method where applicable.

4. Consent and your choices

Essential site functions and security do not depend on analytics or marketing technologies. We run baseline first-party analytics, which does not identify you personally, until you tell us not to. Marketing, session replay, and business-visitor identification remain off unless you choose Accept optional in our privacy-choice panel. Choosing Reject optional stops all of it, including the baseline analytics, and does not prevent you from using the site or submitting a form.

You can revisit your choice at any time using the Cookie settingsbutton shown on the site. Withdrawing consent stops optional trackers on the next page load and removes the optional first-party attribution storage that the site can access. Your browser or the relevant provider may offer additional controls for provider-managed cookies.

Google Consent Mode begins with analytics and advertising storage denied, so Google Analytics measures a visit without writing an analytics or advertising cookie. If you accept optional tracking, the site updates those settings to granted. If you reject, Google Tag Manager does not load at all, and neither does our own first-party attribution.

See our Cookie Policy for the categories and providers involved.

5. When we disclose information

We do not sell or rent personal information. We disclose information to service providers only as needed for the purposes described in this policy, to professional advisers where appropriate, in connection with a business transaction subject to suitable safeguards, or where disclosure is required or permitted by law.

Current service-provider categories include:

  • Vercel (website hosting, performance, and optional analytics)
  • Supabase and Payload CMS (lead and content data storage)
  • Resend (transactional email delivery)
  • Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager (optional measurement)
  • Microsoft Clarity (optional session and usability analytics)
  • Meta and LinkedIn (optional advertising measurement)
  • RB2B (optional business-visitor identification)
  • WhatConverts (optional call and lead attribution)

6. Processing outside Canada

Some service providers process or store information outside Saskatchewan or Canada, including in the United States. Information handled in another jurisdiction may be accessible to courts, law enforcement, or regulators under that jurisdiction’s laws. Unalike remains accountable for personal information transferred to providers for processing and uses contractual or other safeguards appropriate to the service.

7. Retention and safeguards

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, to provide services, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal, tax, security, or recordkeeping obligations. Retention periods vary by record type. We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity and context of the information. No internet or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

8. Access, correction, withdrawal, and complaints

You may ask to access or correct personal information we hold about you, withdraw consent where applicable, or ask how information has been used or disclosed. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where required by law or where an applicable exception permits it. Contact our Privacy Officer at info@unalike.ca. If we cannot resolve a concern, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

9. Children

This business website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through it. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and address the situation.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices, providers, or legal obligations change. We will post the current version here and update the date above. If a change is significant enough to require renewed consent, optional tracking will remain off until that consent is obtained.
