Google Review Impact Calculator
Compare your Google review profile with local competitors, calculate the count and rating gaps, and turn the result into a realistic 90-day target.
Methodology
Useful math, with the caveats left in
The review target is the larger of two gaps: the count required to move one review ahead of the strongest competitor you entered, and the number of new five-star reviews mathematically required to reach the target rating. The score is about your review profile only. It is not a Local Pack ranking score.
What this calculator does not promise
- • More reviews do not guarantee a specific Google Maps position.
- • Revenue scenarios do not isolate reviews from seasonality or other marketing.
- • The result is only as current as the review counts and ratings you enter.
Google review calculator FAQ
How many Google reviews do I need?
There is no universal number. A useful target compares your review count and rating with the relevant local businesses appearing beside you. This calculator uses up to three competitors to create a directional target.
Will more reviews guarantee a higher Google Maps ranking?
No. Reviews are one local-search signal among relevance, proximity, profile quality, website authority, and other factors. The calculator scores review competitiveness only and does not predict or guarantee rankings.
How is the revenue impact calculated?
The tool applies transparent 5%, 10%, and 15% planning scenarios to the monthly value of customers you already attribute to Google. These are scenarios, not forecasts or promises.
